A4 poster and smaller posters emailed to Brego along with further info and a list of Rescue Centres.  Hope these help in the search for Freya and we see her in the BLUE soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brego, thanks for registering and updating us.  Photo of Freya now uploaded (required converting to a jpg from a word doc), posters can now be printed, you must be logged in.  Landline number also added to poster.  I'll do the usual various size posters a.s.a.p. and email to Brego.  As Freya is described as a looking like a Springer Spaniel ask Rescue etc if they have any or cross Springers.   Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brego - thanks for updating us. Once the photo has been uploaded you can view a poster on the top left hand of Freya's page which has your contact details on and information about her. Pass posters to post man, milk man, refuse collectors, window cleaners etc - anyone who has knowledge of the immediate area. You would be surprised at the number of people who find a dog and aren't aware they have to report it to anyone so poster, poster and poster some more as it's entirely possible someone has taken her in. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07849 959 980 as I will be mobile this weekend. Good luck with the search and rest assured we will help you in any way we can. Forgot to say that we have notified the Dog Warden, Police, all local kennels and vets, local caravan sites and put posters up in the local shops, all around the area she went missing, posted leaflets through doors, advertised on the local radio, put an advert in the local paper and given leaflets to friends to distribute throughout the area.  Can't think of anything else to do.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Although Freya is an English Setter, she is a working type so is much smaller than the show types and looks very like a Springer Spaniel.  Body white with black flecks, big black ears that have a small patch of white at the bottom making her look as though she is wearing earrings and a black splodge on her bottom.  Her cottar was tagged with her name and our phone number and she is microchipped.  Freya came to live with us after being found tied up in a ditch in Ireland.  Possibly abandoned as although an excellent working dog, she is frightened of loud noises ie. gunfire so was presumably no use to previous owner.  We are absolutely distraught.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner, sorry to see Freya is missing, thanks for putting her details on DL, could you please send a photo/s a.s.a.p. to admin@doglost.co.uk any problems with a photo let us know. Can you please update us on the circumstances of how she has gone missing.  We will do all we can to help you in your search.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  Posters can be printed, once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1  just above Dog Information (you must be registered and logged in).  Contact vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Do update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc and if you have started postering.  Comments can be posted by selecting  Add a comment just above other comments.   Great that she is CHIPPED, ensure the chip company has been informed and her details are up to date.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
