So sorry. My thoyghts are with bis family. Nightie, night Max sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge with Rosie, and Odin who have also gone to bridge, and are waiting to play RIP+ God Bless A~~~Candle~~~buns for you. Absolutely devastated to be updating from owner’s post

So after 2 weeks and two days, the day we all dreaded has come. This morning, we found Max’s body at the bottom of the water. He’s now gone off to our wonderful vet, for a dignified end to all of this. Thankyou to you all for your input, your concern and your caring. We couldn’t have asked for more. RIP Max, you crazy, crazy hound

We lost our dear Labrador, Max, in Newbury on 21/03/2020. He jumped into rain water in a field and got sucked into a weir. He was on a lead with collar at the time - unsure now. We believe Max has made it through the river and quite a distance by now. Please keep your eyes peeled as you walk & on Facebook.

The collar matched for lab sighted Northcroft
It has also been reported that someone saw a post of a muddy black lab with half chewed lead hanging from collar. If anyone can find that post please put link here

I have agreed with owner that as Max was lost in Berkshire that is SE region. Possible sighting Monday Northcroft Newbury
