I have put up posters further a field,& i have rung around all the dog wardens& vets again,i have searched all the fields & hedges around the area where she disappeared, there just doesnt seem to have been one single sighting of her since she vanished!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Heidi - thanks for message, and so glad you can do the posters. I really cant stress enough to keep on the backs of the dog dog wardens, pounds, vets, and police!  You may be told that they will let you know etc etc, but they dont all do so, and they dont tie up with each other either. Elderly dog, could get put down, so please be aware of this and keep on with the postering. Poster everywhere, and contact local paper and freebie papers. Email me if you need any more advice in case I dont see message on here. Stay safe Bluey xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi yasa, many thanks for the posters & flyers,I am borrowing a neighbours printer to print the piccys out,There hasnt been a single sighting of bluey, myself & neighbours have scouted out local fields & hedges for her,but she seems to have just vanished! The local farmer has checked all his buildings & is keeping an out in his fields, I have put cards in windows to say she is missing, lydnsyd has been keeping me updated about her efforts in finding bluey!! I am alittle concerned now as she is elderly & her back legs are a bit doderry!  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A4 Poster and Flyers for Bluey have been emailed to you as promised lydnsyd. Will send to owners in case they get printer fixed. Use the flyers for handouts and for posting through doors. I do hope Bluey is found soon. Good Luck.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Lydnsyd that is really good of you. Will try and find time to make up some flyers later. If so I will email them to you. They really need to get some sort of posters up besides yours, even if hand written,  as need as many eyes looking as possible. Dont like the sound of the railway as there will be tempting rabbits along the embankments !!  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Yasa, I did call the owner last night to get more details etc. I gather that they are having problems with their computer/printer so have been unable to poster however they have called all the relevant people and are doing regular checks of the area. This area is very close to the railway line so have advised Heidi to contact the relevant people just incase the worst has occured and Heidi also lives practically next to the line but she doesn't think Bluey would be capable of getting onto the line. Bluey went missing while on a riverside walk with 5 dogs - a relative who was walking her stopped to chat to another dog walker and after noticed she was missing. I have put up posters along the river walk, also at Somerfields and in a car park near to Whitchurch Bridge and in the local Vets and spoken to riverside dog walkers to make them aware that she is missing. I will try to get a few more posters upLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you so much Lydnsyd for helping in the search for Bluey. It is really helpful to have someone in the area. Bluey is not a spring chicken now, and could do with some help getting home. It would be best if you gave owners a quick ring I think to find out what they've done, and I'm sure they would be grateful for your help. I hope that all dog wardens, and rescue centres have been notified, along with police, and all the vets in the area. Seven days is not long, before a dog can be re-homed. Stay safe Bluey until you are found xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I live in Pangbourne and also walk my dogs in Sulham woods which is very near to Purley. I will be more than happy to help in postering infact I'm still doing posters for LUCKY the Lurcher who went missing. If you can let me know where you have already put up posters and also what part of the river walk he went missing from I can also take my dogs for a walk along the river.  I really do hope you find him soon - I will keep everything crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
