- Poster around ALL surrounding areas. Poster in doors too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Post in shops; post offices too. Contact vets etc in case she has been handed in. Sometimes a microchip can slip. I would advise the owner to tke a good walk aroud the area, holding her UNWASHED blanket., and rattle some dog treats. And use the same deodorant you use on a day to day basis as she wil recognize the scent. And your the one she trusts, Maybe she was spooked by something and ran off. And maybe hiding somewhere.
