YES, YES, Yes - first sightings Saturday, out of the woods and into the village by the river. Started to try and find her own way home. She was in flight mode, and though several people saw her, she fled from them. Baited cages failed to attract her overnight. At 9-ish Sunday morning she was spotted again, in identical place and she then: crossed the River Welland over a footbridge to get back to 'my' side of Rutland, ran up Barrowden Main Street and up the road to Morcott. Every time she saw one of the dozen people tailing her by this stage, she fled again, into fields. We followed. We tried to stop her at A47 but she was spooked back into fields. We decided we would police A47 and stop traffic if she made 2nd attempt. She got around our backs and crossed the A47 unaided, turned into village High Street and met her second favourite human, Astrid, who was just coming home from church. Astrid could not believe her eyes. Cora recognise Astrid, wagged her tail and let her pick her up. 5 minutes later she was eating a tin of sardines. She is exhausted but otherwise unscathed, just muddy. I cannot thank everyone enough, across Rutland and North/East Northamptonshire border. Complete strangers have come out to hunt for her in all weathers since Thursday. Totally humbled by the dog community. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am trying to ensure everyone knows she is home, but she went viral on social media so I may not know who knows! Jane

Cora is home safely. She found her own way back to her village after 3 sightings yesterday and eventually went to her second favourite person. Fantastic effort from Team Cora who spent huge amount of time searching for her. Hopefully Jane will also update. Lovely to see her home safely.
