Also sometimes a person will take a fancy to someone`s cat, and try to hide it in their home. I have known this happen until the thief saw the male owner, and the cat was returned. Just because you can`see a cat it doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Two cats posted as missing where found months after they went awol in the same area/. One THREE MONTHS; the other SIX MONTHS. Cats can be very elusive Paws xd.Last edited: 2019-10-28 08:28:50

Assume you have checked ALL outbuildings including empty houses and cellars THOROUGHLY, as some cats will hide in or behind an object within, especially if timid. Not to late to re-check as cats can survive without food for weeks. They will lick on certain items to keep themselves hydrated. Check trees; an decking too. Put some tuna, or chicken in his dish, and all him; night/early morning is bet. Rattle some treats too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on all your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Take a good walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dremiues. Someone maybe feeding him. (Common problem). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children whee animals are concerned. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case he has climbed into a vehicle which isn`t that uncommon for cats to do. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can get into very small spaces (About 3" wide (7/8cm). So has he managed to crawl into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Paws xd.Last edited: 2019-10-28 07:59:06
