2 sightings of Ruby Saturday and Sunday. She went into a Garden Centre but staff couldn't catch her. It seems that she may have a den in the wood that she was first sighted by. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Things seem to have a gone a little quiet and no more news on Ruby. She was featured in the Tamworth Herald but it hasn't brought in any calls of her whereabouts. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rachel has now found out that there was a sighting of Ruby in the village of Austry on Saturday 13th and another in another part of the village yesterday. Ruby should be featured in the Tamworth Herald tomorrow and Rachel is also working hard on getting radio and TV coverage. Stay away from the motorway and hand yourself in Ruby!!  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Message from Rachel: Just to let you know we had a call from a dog walker in the village who thinks she has spotted our beloved Ruby about 4 fields away from home tonight. We have been out looking in that spot but by the time we got there she had gone! we have had to give up the search tonight as it was too dark to see anything. The dog walker can not remember seeing a lead attached to her so she might have slipped this by now so would like to update the information and put a plea out for any local people still to poster and keep a look out if they are in our area. I have done a leaflet drop through all doors in the village today so we are desperately keeping our fingers crossed! Well done Rachel. Great that people have started to report sightings to you and better if she's no longer got her lead attached. Please check your email. As she seems quite close to home I've sent you some instructions on doing a scent trail. Anyone in the area please keep a look out a and phone Rachel straight away if you see little Ruby. Fingers crossed she'll be home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photo of similar dog now on site. Ruby went missing while owner was on holiday. A friend who was looking after the animals tied Ruby and another dog to a fence while she dealt with the horses and they got loose. The other dog has returned. Please if you are in this area put a couple of posters up for Ruby. She's only a baby and as she had her lead attached needs to be found quickly. Thanks XLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

When dogs go missing with the lead still attached they often get caught up in the undergrowth of trees and bushes so go back to where you last saw her and check it out thoroughly.  Hope your puppy is found very soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh dear, that is really worrying with her still having her lead attached on top of everything else. Please print off posters and distribute them everywhwere you can in the area she went missing. Inform the Dog Warden ASAP and call all the local rescue kennels. Hope she is spotted really soon and is home with you again.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
