Benji has just been returned to the family now, sadly it was him. R. I. P little man. Your now back with your mummy who sadly passed away a few weeks ago. Run free little lad xx

Sadly after Benji's owners yet again had to contact network rail they have had confirmation that a dog has been collected off the line and they are sure it is Benji

They have said that someone will contact them tomorrow and take the body to them so that they can confirm its him.

I wouldn't usually update at this stage but the above is already stated on Facebook. We are not 100% it's him yet
