Sad news from Bertie's facebook page "Thanks for all your searches the past 5 days you’ve all been a great support wether that was with sharing my posts - going out looking - putting up posters or just supportive comments.
Sadly my dad found Bertie dead in mill green lakes an hour ago. As you can imagine we’re absolutely heartbroken and devastated.The only positive thing I can say out of all this is that at least my dad found him and we now know he’s home and we won’t be left wondering.I will close berties page - me and my family are so thankful for your input.Now we need to be left to grieve and deal with this heart wrenching news that we’re all finding so hard to come to terms with.Sleep tight Bertie - we are going to miss you SO so much, we’re loving you always
