I now know how to do a Facebook group, but it is not an easy ride and you need a lot of dedication to pull everything together as so much goes on behind the scenes.

RE the posts below about missing and stolen dogs often being found on travellers sites.....I wonder if one way forward might be to collate evidence....there needs to be a central list compiled. I don't know if anyone has been collecting any such information. The only way the newspapers, authorities, police are going to change their stance is if they can be confronted with evidence that there is a real problem with dog theft and extortion from people living on the sites. Many of the vehicles used from these sites are on false plates, the police need to take a zero tolerance rather than back off. Perhaps we should be lobbying our local MPs, councillors, police authorities.

Couldn't agree more Reynard. Having a group of people that require such kid glove treatment from the authorities makes me very angry. I have no doubt that there are many missing dogs to be found on sites up and down the country. I hope I haven't offended anyone but you don' need a council liaison officer to knock on my door and ask questions about a missing dog!

Good news they have been recovered, poor dogs been kept on a Travellers site over a month not a nice experience for them & upsetting for their dedicated owner. Its a shame Travellers seem to be a law unto themselves.

Have these 3 beautiful Shetland Sheeodogs had a Facebook Group made for them ?
It will certainly help in making them too hot to handle.
I do not apologise for asking as I am Fed Up of reading Accounts of where Dogs have been recovered, or bought back, from the Travelling Community
- have Avon Constabulary raided ALL Nearby Camps - permanent or temporary ?.
I am sure these 3 will soon be home with lovely folk like sheltielover on the case .

The thieves tore down part of a 6ft fence to get at the dogs. They are an 11 month old, their mother who is 5, and 11yr old Mo Please everybody share to your vets so that we have more chance of getting them home.
