- Other Info £500 Reward offered the safe return of Shelley the Hermann tortoise. Missing from Daphne Road in Neath. Last seen about 3pm on Friday 26th July. She likes to hide in corners, under bushes & may dig into soil to stay cool. Likely to be around the Daphne Road or Woodland Park Drive (Cadoxton) area. Maybe in someone’s garden. - Sorry to seem as though I think you haven't looked but please look in your own garden again (several times) as my old one used to run away a lot (often outside garden limits) but on a few occasions he did turn up in his own garden, having concealed himself somewhere in the garden. Have a look as soon as the morning warms up as she may emerge from her hiding place and be on the move then. Other than that, loads of postering in your area (we got ours back that way once - someone had picked him up but couldn't find owner so had sent him off to stay with their sister a few miles away, who had a walled garden, then she saw our poster 3 weeks later).
