The dog they have described sounds very much like Suzie who is a rescue dog missing in the Heacham area, I’m wondering if the poster they saw was for Suzie...if this is the case then sadly not this dog.

i have received a pm regarding this dog, here is the information...

I’ve just returned from Heacham south beach where I saw a dog that looks like that one on a lost poster - they said he was a rescue dog and not to chase him as he would run away - the poster was on a rail by the caravan site. I’m back in Cov now we were literally there late afternoon- I nearly took a photo of the poster but then didn’t bother. I’m sure he was lost on the 26th July on that beach .
I’ve looked on maps and the poster was on south beach rd - I think on small a bridge rail
It’s 54 miles away from where he was found!

if anyone is lives near or around the area where the poster of the missing dog is, they could get info as to the owners of this dog
