Molly is a cat detection dog
Unknown
I would try Colin Butcher a professional pet detective. (He worked as a police detective for 14 years) He has a black Cocker spaniel called Molly who has been trained to sniff out cats too. I believe that she has found about 90 cats in two years. He is based in Surrey i think, but in an interview he stated that he would be prepared to travel., or will give advice over the phone. (Molly is trained to found other pets too) The number is 01403 753 463. e.mail info@thepetdetectives.comLast edited: 2019-07-28 21:15:51

Any sightings?

Try tempting him with some catnip near the door.
Unknown
First of all put some tuna or chicken in his dish, and call him, (Presume can hear) and then place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used trowels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too' anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Take a good walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some dreamies. Someone could be feeding him, thinking he is a stray. He maybe shut in somewhere, so check ALL outbuildings. Even though he is blind, cats have a small tube in the roof of their mouths about half an inch long called a Jacobson`s organ, with this tube they can "Feel, "taste, and smell" etc. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where, and when you can. The best time to search for Milo is when darkness falls. When searching. use the same deodorant, say that you use on a day to day basis as he will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. You could also take with you an Air Freshener that is used in your house, as it should remind him of his home comforts And give it a little shake. . As Milo is blind it will be even more about scent; his, and his owners. He maybe having a "Nose around" in a neighbours garden. Paws xd.
