- I had the found dod mentioned by sukimax at my home for a while after she was found and I am sorry but its not Sweep. The found dog was actually quite short legged and miniature schnauzer sized. Also her ears are small and pointed and covered in smooth velvet like hair. Pam xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Anthea if you could get some media coverage on Sweep, eg local newspapers etc with an article we will bump her up to the top and raise her profile. I think this is the way to go now. Get her picture and her story out there and then email HQ on admin@doglost.co.uk and we can do that. She is so gorgeous. Stay safe Sweep xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Poster everywhere you can. Firstly inform the Dog warden, (if this has not been done ),who you will be able to contact at your council offices. Posters (In plastic folders) need to be put up in the area where your dog went missing, or where there have been sightings, if any - on lamp posts, entrances to parks and strategic places in parks, like at the start and finish of tracks and paths, dog bins, at vets, pet shops, garages, pubs, carry-out food shops, post offices, local shops who often allow postcards in the window, supermarkets who have notice boards, community centres, youth clubs, schools etc. You can ask the postman, milkman, taxi drivers, street cleaners, bin men (even put poster on bins), to take some flyers and hand them out on their rounds. You can ask school bus drivers and kids on the bus, or if you have kids on the bus, get them to hand out flyers at school. Deliver flyers to houses, businesses & pop through letterboxes . Hand out flyers to people in the street, especially dog walkers. Put posters or flyers in car windows. Rescue centres and kennels, also police offices need checking regularly and preferably visited in person, by owner or someone who knows the dog, because your dog or it's breed may not be recognised by other people. Also police are sometimes too busy to deal with it. Get some media coverage if you can, by asking the local radio station to broadcast your dog as missing and put an ad in the local newspaper with a picture of her. Good luck. Hope she is home very soon. Keep her profile high and OUT THERE. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Being a terrier she could still be around the area where she went missing, and hunting. There are lots of young rabbits out there just now for her to eat, and shelter in the countryside. Keep going back to the area she went missing, especially around dawn and dusk. Leave some articles of your clothing , which have your scent on them, socks perhaps, dotted around the area along with some of her favourite food. If there are any sightings, please contact Doglost head office for scenting instructions, which will help to keep her within a certain area. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi I'm in Llanfechell and am keeping an eye open for Sweep. Anything you need (even a shoulder to lean on) please let me know. My email is jacky.roberts@ntlworld.com. I'm happy to come to the place she was lost at the weekend and help have a search if you'd like? One of mine (he's a boy though) is strikingly similar to Sweep, already had someone one ask if it was her!! Jacky xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Much too late now to telephone, but have emailed owner for more details as to circumstances and location lost from. And for the breed. Have guessed Sweep is possible Bedlington Lurcher or Bedlington cross. Have also advised re postering and informing authorities. I do hope she is found soon. Gorgeous little girl. Stay safe Sweep xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
