Anika who previously fostered Yogi, came down with Scruffy dog & his new owners to help in the search for Yogi. I was showing them the set up around the farm & sightings & a field where we hoped he would come out to play when we got a call to say he had been sighted on the road up towards Camborne. It seems Yogi had actually found the driveway of his new house. I rang his owners back & told them to keep an eye out as he seemed to be making his way along their lane to the house. They went to the back door to unexpectedly find find Yogi outside. He ran off down the driveway into the woods & out of sight. Anika took Scruffy for a walk down there & he came out of hiding but would not approach them. Scruffy was left of the lead & they started playing & he came over for treats (home-made by Anika :) ) She was able to get hold of his lead. We managed to get another slip lead on him & we got him safely back to the house. He is still nervous, but looks like he will settle in. I doubt if he would have been caught without Anika & Scruffy ( & his new owners) coming down, as he hadn't been near the trap at all during the night.
Welcome back Yogi, so chuffed. There were lots of hugs & damp eyes :)

So chuffed to see Yogi is safe at last. Well done to Maxine & team for working so hard to ensure he was caught & thank you to Geoff for all the updates. I’m on holiday in Cornwall a bit further up the coast & was so worried about him! Brilliant news 🐾

Yogi has been safely caught 🙂. Following a further sighting this afternoon, Max went to the scene with previous fosterer and Yogi's foster buddy, and Yogi came bounding over to greet his pal.

I last sighted him around 9pm in the yard, I was sitting in a car watching & waiting, he came towards the trap, but at a distance of about 30 feet away. He stood & sniffed the air, but turned around & ran off out of sight.
He did not come back as there was no relevant footage on the camera.
It is hoped today that when his previous fosterer comes with a dog he was frindly with, that this will draw him out.

With help from Drone Support there has been a further sighting this afternoon. Max remains at the scene monitoring the situation and a trap has been set.

Max is on scene again this afternoon and has just advised there has been a sighting in the last few minutes and actions are in hand to try and secure Yogi.

Sadly there have been no further sightings.
I have set up a feeding station with camera at a premises near to where last seen (also monitored by cctv)
Will see what tomorrow brings when I view the footage.
I have also requested a drone for tomorrow if needed.

A business has Yogi on their CCTV at the moment, I gather Maxine is in touch with them and is on the scene . Paws crossed they will get Yogi to safety. A trap has been offered for tomorrow if needed

From DogLost Cornwall (Maxine Young) “This dog is a rescue form China. Apparently it was being delivered to address & the delivery driver opened the crate & it ran off :( Is the size of a spaniel & quite skinny“

SIGHTED From DogLost Cornwall page - On back roads towards Hayle (rosworthy), dog running along road in front of car, managed to get dog off the busy road into fields in merry meeting house farm , tried to catch dog but he ran and couldn't see in long grass , had a blue lead no harness , brown dog maybe a mix between Labrador and other dog (not sure). Had to leave due having prior arrangements but at least it is safe of the road
