Hi I'm the dog warden who picked him up and I beleive he is a Bouvier des Flandres ,but having a really long coat and not seeing one before I was/am unsure. He has a docked tail and under his fur he is quite skinny, you can feel his ribs,He has a grey bit under his muzzle and runs similar to an old english sheepdog. Anyone with any ideas as to where he might be from please please get in touch. thank you JanLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

He looks like a Briard to me and if he is I'm sure someone will be looking for him. Hope he gets home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Could it be a Bouvier Des Flanders?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Are you sure it's a Newfoundland? I used to have one and from that picture it doesn't look like one to me and I have never come across one with a docked tail. Maybe another picture from a different angle would help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
