Thanks for emails Fly/Hazel/doglost team..been away and no signal!!!...spoken with owner about possible sighting,she has no transport so im going to arrange with Fly to  go to area and have a search around..tried to get hold of man who rang doglost,no answer so will try again in the morning and go from there...........FLY - if you can either ring/text 2moro if you get to have a look round area so we can arrange maybe a visit together to area????.....stay safe buffy xx

Thanks for putting her in Countrymans weekly....Thanks Fly for the offer,she was a small build and if she is anything like her other litter sister who lives near me,she still will be small build,she is half working/half show type..her dad was working(i have him and her litter brother( pic2) and mum was show(who is still owned by buffys owner).they have given up looking for her but i will do what i can to help find her,even just to know she is ok it will put my mind at rest xx

Madmutz, if there is anything I can do to help please let me know, its only a few miles from me and I go to Burwell often. How big would she be now? perhaps compared to your dog? During our search for Saffy (Sapphire burwell) we spent a lot of time at upware and there were several little dogs tied to a caravan at one time but impossible now to say what types.

Someone may have got her and not want to give her back so keep putting posters up everywhere and start to poster surrounding towns and villages. It just takes one person to recognise her and call you. Never stop looking.

Having spoke to my friend today,she tells me she may have a pic of Buffy on her sons fone so if it goes to plan,we will try to download it asap to pc and get it on here...been intouch with local dog warden again today,no dog been found in area,but she is going to circulate details again just to keep council workers vigilant,Amanda x

We are begining to think people may think if they see anyone with a dog similar to buffy they may think they have seen a springer and not a cocker  as her brother(who's in pic) is always being mistaken for a springer!!! so if anyone reading this has seen a dog like buffy but thought it cant be her cos quite tall like a springer,  please give owners a call,you never know it maybe the call they desparately need!!!

I know it's hard but if you call the local Council Street Care Dept. and Railway Co. they will tell you if Buffy has been found dead on road/rail.  They are usually very sympathetic and it will put your mind at rest as they always have people who check regularly. I'm sure she's fine and hope she'll be home soon, dear little girl. xx

My friend Janet (buffys owner)has been ringing all local dog rescue centres/dog wardens etc and left details,ive printed off more posters to put up further afield on my travels around the area over next few days,Its the not knowing whats happened to her that hurts the most,we cant bear the thought of her lying hurt/dead somewhere,at least if its bad news if she was found at least we could lay her to rest,what makes it worst is i own her brother and they look so much alike..if anyone is reading this and they think they may have seen buffy please let us know,or if you have her then please, no questions asked please let her come home,Amanda x

Have all the vets and rescue centres in the area been notified? Don't forget about dog training clubs, groomers, dog walkers etc. Keep postering everywhere you need to make Buffy too hot to handle

You must never give up hope, she's out there somewhere waiting to be found. My guess is someone has taken her in with the intent of keeping her. Make sure you keep postering far and wide and every now and then renew old posters to say STILL MISSING because after a while people assume she has been found. This time of year there are a lot of country fairs etc and it's always a good idea to go along to as many as possible to hand out posters. Stay positive.

So sorry to hear Buffy has gone missing. Print of as many posters as possible and display them all around the area she went missing from. Get a poster to all vets, pubs, pet shops, school notice boards, dog training clubs, dog groomers and ask taxi drivers and postmen to keep a look out for her. Don't forget to iinform the dog warden and go and visit rescue centres on a regular basis. I have a cocker and I know how curious they are so make sure you check sheds and outbuildings as she may have got locked in one. Good luck with the search.

This is on here on behalf of my friend Janet who owns Buffy but has no internet access..Buffy disappeared on 21/6/08 from back garden so we think she just got out but could have been stolen..She is  white/black with lots of black flecks,i own her brother who is very similar so will try to get a pic on here asap[,we are all desparate for any info,Thanks,Amanda (all info will be passed on to Janet)
