Still no news of Dusty. Someone must have picked her up or  taken her in. There is no way a little old lady like this would have wandered too far.I hope she is found soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

In that case, perhaps someone has taken her in. If there was shooting in the area she may have become frightened and run off. Hope she is found soon Suzy.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoke to owner today and she has scoured the woods looking for Dusty, checking rabbit holes where she could have got stuck.  She has postered and contacted dog warden and rescue centre.  She has tried local radio but will ask Keelah to try P & J.  Shooting occurred in local area but owner has talked to gamekeepers and nothing has been seen.  Owner says Dusty is a friendly girl who would approach people.  Since it is a country area have advised owner to approach local postie for help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I think it is highly unlikely that Dusty has gone very far. I know this area well. She may have been taken ill, become trapped somewhere or strayed onto the road and been involved in a RTA. Hopefully she will be found soon. Come home Dusty.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Keelah
Dusty and another dog went off to play in the fields and woodland that surround their farm as they do every single day owner called and one dog came back but not Dusty. she is chipped and has a tag with her name and number on it so where can she be? owner continues to poster and search like mad. Dusty is in the countrymans weekly column I did todayLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Suzy, I  live not too far from you so if you require any help, leave a post on Dusty's page. Put Dusty's posters up all around Newmachar shops, pubs etc and stick small flyers of Dusty's poster through people's doors. Have you called the dog warden for your area? Here are the numbers.01467 628195 and 01224 475183. Also check Murrays cat and dog home in Aberdeen every day as that is where she will be taken if she is picked up by the dog warden. YOU have to call them, as they won't call you to let you know. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have put notice and pic on CKCSforums.com and asked members to keep a lookout. Is that a very rural or town area -  could she have wandered off - check all sheds, outhouses , garages etc - it is amazing how many dogs get shut in. Hope she gets home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
