On Monday 11th Jan at 2pm I received a call regarding a black Labrador limping on the aerodrome. I headed out and as I got there I got another call from a colleague stating that a man had managed to get hold of this dog. Colleague picked up the dog and took to a local vets where it was scanned and a microchip was found. Reunited with said owners. The vets at present are not aware if this dog had been the injured dog from 17th January. Will respond on here should we find more out about it. Last edited: 2019-02-12 10:55:45 by Caro

Sighting of a dark coloured large dog. Grimsby road WALTHAM.Message sent to local lost pets group 9.30pm. No breed or collar confirmed. I was there within half an hour of sighting and met up with those that spotted it. Thermal imager used along hedgerow but nothing found. By 11pm another individual turned up to help and a dog was heard barking in one of the properties. Will knock on doors today to confirm if this dog had got out.
UPDATED. No immediate houses are known to have this vague description of dog. Residents are aware of initial incident and are looking out for more possible future sightings. Last edited: 2019-02-03 19:36:48 by Caro

I went to Waltham garden centre yesterday and spoke to them, apparently there was 2 black labs seen but they only knew of one sighting of them and haven't heard of anything since....

We had a few sightings of 2 black Labs running loose in that area last year, so its presumed that they belong to somebody living/working locally

I walked down the footpath beside the Waltham Garden centre (opp airfield on cheapside) earlier today and there was a black lab, it did have a collar but I cant confirm collar colour, did not appear injured but did not come to me and my dogs, I went back with slip lead, but no sign of it, rang garden centre to make them aware as they have ducks geese etc

Previous sighting on Sunday 20th is more likely to have been wearing a BLUE collar.
Same description of dog with RED collar sighted Saturday 19th in village 20minutes away. Nothing else reported.
Tuesday 22nd 7.30am possible sighting. A local home owner checked this out and only found a dog fox.
Tuesday 22nd 11am another sighting of a black Labrador collar not confirmed seen at the opposite end of Ings lane, waltham. Further searches revealed nothing. Drone also used short time later again nothing found.
Members of a local lost dog group are watching and told to follow and observe but not chase. Reporting sightings back to admin on a direct number.

This dog has been sighted again this afternoon close to where it was seen before near old airfield Waltham.....
It sounds like it’s running scared as people have tried to catch it, people need to just observe where it’s going etc so a feed station and a trap can be got into place so it can be caught safely.

Possible sighting in FULSTOW which is 15 minutes or so from scartho,Grimsby.Lady who witnessed the RTC is heading out there this afternoon.
