Oh blow, just went to have another look at Nigel and they’ve taken him off.   Anyway, he was one unhappy looking boy, ears down and expression miserable - so different from his other photos.I am so relieved he was found, great work Driftdog and have a happy life Toby xx

Owner has just emailed and said she has her dog and is SO happy.  She thanks us all for our efforts.  The second pic is of Toby when he is home.  Does he look happy or what!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Fantastic news! Gives me hope that my cat may still turn up. He's been off on his adventure for 4 weeks now! Hope owner collects Toby soon and that the claiming charge isn't too steep! But no matter how steep an extra ?15 pounds for a chip is a must!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

OH MY !!!  What excellent news. WELL DONE EVERYONE !!!! Welcome home Toby xxxxxx Thank goodness Toby was not re-homed before he was spotted. Please get a microchip for him now to reduce the chances of this ever happening again. What a close shave.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

How recent is the picture of Toby on this site? Was browsing the Scottish SPCA site & found Nigel Who could be an older version of Toby or posibly just a distant relative. here's hoping http://www.scottishspca.org/rehoming/animal/209_nigel Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, This is not the same dog on the web site as the one I  saw at Cardonald and I  think it was picked up in the Paisley area.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks guys.  Neither look like Toby tho'.  Will pass it on to owner to check when I speak to her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Not known
There is another dog on that website called Hugo which is more of a match to Toby.......but this dog has a fair bit of white on his chest.  So not a match for Toby.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I don't think this dog is Toby, as Lad has more black on his face, but they do have similar colouring.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

DW, thank to so much for passing this information onto us, I’ve done a google search for this rescue are the details above right?  Is the dog you refer to on the above site named as Lad?  Thanks again for taking the time to cross match.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Get posters printed off and display all around the area. Send copies to all vets and the dog warden. Please go in person to any local rescue centres and keep on checking regularly as they do not always recognise dogs from  the description. Good luck with the search.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
