Just spoken to the owner tonight and have verified that it is Midlothian. She has contacted Police, Dog Warden, local SSPCA, Cat & Dog Home, Petsearch, 10 vets locally, Identichip and The local Railway people (as she is bounded by road and railway). Owner lives in rural area and her dogs often go off rabbitting but always come back and are not prone to running off. No posters as yet because difficult area to poster and no photo received as yet.  Owner will email this out tonight. Cass IS chipped so hopefully will turn up soon.x

Thanks for that info AR.  I have emailed all Scottish rescues and all dog wardens but will clarify with owner about Mid/ West Lothian.  Its good to know what rescues are closest.

Kirknewton is part of West Lothian.  I drive past on my way to and from work so will keep a look out. Has owner contacted Balerno SSPCA and Dogstrust as they are both not far from here?  Also West Lothian Dog Warden takes dogs to the Edinburgh Cat and Dog Home I believe, so worth a call. Hope shes home soon :o-)

Once photo arrives, poster like mad in area where she went missing. In local shops, vets, bus-stops etc.  Give poster to your local postie, bin-men.  Contact all your local dog rescues directly.  Phone the dog warden and notify local police.  Any questions, let me know. x
