Thanks for post. Have you posted her on Animal Search UK, Missing pet register, Catchat, and Cat Protection, whom all list, MISSING., and FOUND cats. They can all be found online. Also some microchips can slip, and, I know of one cat whose "Chip" actually fell out, but is probably uncommon for this to happen.

I have just added Titch to Critteralert. Not sure where else to add her. I wasn’t around during the day so didn’t see any vehicles nearby but I spoke to all the people I could think of who might have been arount that day, such as the postman and a local builder, but no luck

Sorry Titch has been missing for so long. As I suggested in my post below 2018-11-15 7:50, she may have climbed into a vehicle as you suggested. Apparently many cats that go missing will do this. Do you possibly remember a removal van in the area at the time Titch went missing? Also some people will take a liking to a particular cat,and try to hide it. This happened a couple of years ago, until the male owner spotted the culprits. The thieve actually took with them a cat carrier to steal the cat for their own pet. Cat was reunited. I think in this case Titch probably did get into a vehicle and was taken in by someone, not thinking to have her scanned for a microchip. Maybe a good idea to post in ALL AREAS, so she could be anywhere as you say. and of course Fb etc. Hope Titch will be found very soon. Miracles can happen. Paws, and fingers xd.

Sadly the missing date is correct - it is TWO YEARS since Titch vanished. We tried all the things suggested, to no avail. We are in a very rural area and all neighbours were made aware and checked buildings etc. The roadsides were checked. We asked the postman etc and checked with vets and rescue centres, put up posters and went on facebook. I didn’t think of DogLost at the time as Titch isn’t a dog!! We are hoping the anniversary might jog someone’s memory. Titch is microchipped and recorded as lost so if she ever gets scanned we should be contacted - I check from time to time that her details are still on the database and that she is still listed as missing. Presume ALL outbuildings where checked at the time, Titch went missing? Empty contents of the hoover on to the garden, as her scent will be there. Put some tuna, or chicken in her dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry. wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leasing up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as may attract her attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding her. (Common problem). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. And also post in shops, post office etc. Hand out posters to as many people as you can. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper, in case she HAS climbed into a vehicle. Paws xd.
