- Presume escaped from new house? He may be trying to find his way back to his old home. (Cats hate change, they like familiarity) . It`s possible that he may be hiding close by. Check ALL outbuildings, and look behind hedges/bushes too. Ask your friend to put scented items of the cat, such as his UNWASHED blanket, and the owners scent too. Place into
a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry: used towels too.. Poster in the new area, and post flyers through doors to. Ask around, especially those with children, as they can be very observant. Ask new neighbours if they would be kind enough to share, as well as DL. Depending on how far away his "Old" house is, poster round there too. When he returns. I would keep him indoors for at least two weeks, or he may go awol again. Paws xd. - 2018-08-06 00:01 Alison
