- It is an offence to abandon an animal. My husbands friend used to work in animal welfare, and apparently there is a 1960 Animal Welfare Act
, that if you abandon an animal, you could be causing it unnecessary suffering to an animal. - 2018-08-10 12:45 Viv B
- Don't understand why an owner can abandon their dog, and it's not a crime?*!!! So I hope someone can give him a lovely home.

- **ROCKY UP FOR RE-HOMING**
The owners of this beautiful boy have decided not to claim him!! Is there anyone who can give this beautiful little boy, approx 5 years old, very friendly, a forever home? - 2018-08-05 09:05 sambus
- Hi all. This dog looks like a wire-haired dachshund and not a yorkie. Might be worth changing the breed to help find his owners.
