The search continues for Mo. Mo's owner has contacted the local paper (Hertfordshire Mercury) and they are putting something on their website with a photo and an article in next week's paper. Thank you for your practical help Old Grey Man!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Am not getting a reply from owner?s phone atm ? was still extremely distressed when I spoke to her on Tuesday. Have downloaded two versions of old Ord. Survey maps of Colliers End. There is a well marked, (which may of course be filled in by now) and I don?t know EXACT location of Mo?s home, but is it worth a look by someone in the immediate area? Will forward these to anyone who might look if you PM me with address, but will keep trying owner?s phone meanwhile.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry for poor Mo,would agree with everything said already, search very close to home in long grass, in neighbours gardens. Hoping for a positive outcome. Could someone passing have given her a lift? Do you know anyone who could track her for you? (bloodhound owner?) Fingers crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi. It's not me that's worn out it's Mo's owner but I know that she has searched the whole area including ditches, under hedges and in outbuildings. Vets etc notified and the local Dog Warden came and searched himself. We walked over the area again today. I wonder she has gone a little further afield in her confusion but owners have covered a wide area and knocked on all doors in the village. There is a big lake close by which is a cause for concern. Please keep looking out for Mo and keep her in your thoughts.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bridget, I know this is a stupid question, in the light of the fact you are worn out from searching, but are there any ditches she could have slipped into, or anything like that? I have had many Greyhounds to old age and I know how weak they get on their hind quarters with age. She wouldn't be able to get up if she had gone down anything like that. Or she's not laid under a hedge somewhere that you cant see? Sorry for the daft questions as I know you will have looked. I do hope there is good news soon. Have the vets and the authorities been made aware? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We've been out looking this morning and it is a real mystery as to where Mo has gone. The owners have scoured the area and we had another walk round this morning but sadly no sign of Mo. We are putting posters up today in the area. If you are in the area please look for Mo along the old A!0 road. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Saw this on MPR and wondered if this dog could have been stolen and then dumped? may be worth a phone call
