Barty was found today hooray x

" After a few days with no sightings, a jogger spotted him in the driveway of a house and we made our way over there. The house backed on to the grounds of Faringdon House, a mansion in the middle of Faringdon. Stacey went round and the grounds man let her in. Straight away she saw him and he trotted away, but after a few minutes he reappeared. Stace sat on the floor and quietly spoke to him, not calling his name or anything, just quietly saying 'din dins' and things that might be familiar to him. This went on for around ten minutes, with Stace talking and Barty looking at her. After a while he slowly approached, then started wagging and realised who she was and jumped into her lap. Then I picked them up and brought them home! "

Contacted carer as owner away, it seems Barty ran off from 'home' straight up to Folly and has been seen several times since.....could be looking for his owner .
Have given advice on scenting & to be careful as now Barty will be in survival mode & may not respond to calls & any eye contact.

'LAST SIGHTING RUNNING DOWN THE STANFORD ROAD THIS AFTERNOON'

That would be Stanford Rd, SN7 8ES just a couple of mins from The Folly where he ran from

General advice emailed, can we know more about the circumstances please? Did Barty get lost on a walk or wander from home? Does he know the area well enough to find his own way home?

I saw a dog that was alone, matching this description running across the folly sports fields. This would have been at 4pm on the 12th of July. It ran in the direcrion of the houses adjacent to the field.
