hiya .. just an update penny is safe and sound at home all warm and snug slept like a log the first night bless her . her owner would like me to extend her thanks to you all for all your support . a huge thanks to the lady that handed her in and to barking and dagenham council for their help . im sure she will be tagged and chipped now !!! i think alot of older generation of dogs and cats slipped thru the net maybe we need to campaign (spelt wrong i think lol) for that ! thanks again especially to rottiandstaffs thank god i had ya number ! greatwork everyone xxxx

Fab news that this elderly lady is safe. Well done to the lady who found Penny and also to B&D Council again.x Seems B&D really have their act together ready for midnight 05/04/08 when the Police are less involved. Stay safe Penny and a chip and tag would be great - just in case.x

BRILLIANT NEWS!!! Thank goodness that this beautiful, senior girl has been found. She does have THE most gorgeous face! A HUGE thank you to the very kind lady who took the time and effort to make sure she was safe. And finally... as doglady has already said, could this very precious girl have a chip AND an ID tag on her collar as a welcome home present?!

her owner just texted me ... shes been found !!!! at a kennels in the borough some lady handed her in yesterday ... thank god !! thank you thank you thank you for all your help i will mail later this evening when she is home safe . they have got to go and collect her . xx

hi everyone .. im a friend of pennys owner and im who contacted doglost for her . as jotty already said pennys owner is awaiting news desprately hoping its her. she has been awake crying all night we postered some of area last night i made a quick poster up on the pc . thank you all so much for all your concern and prompt help. fingers and everything else crossed till her safe return . i will let pennys mum know u are all concerned . xx

Penny's owner is currently waiting for a call back from a lady who found a dog matching Penny's description yesterday. Barking and Dagenham Council connected the lost and found reports and have contacted the finder asking them to call Penny's owner. She is eaglerly awaiting the call and in the meantime everyone cross their fingers! Lets hope it's Penny and she'll be home soon!
