What are the police doing about this????? I am aware the police have been informed by the owner, but if the dog is being sighted daily then have they been informed further?

Have spoken to owner at length and there is no picture of sky available. sky is being sighted daily by family members with the man who took her and also someone else. on both occasions, those who have called the dog have been threatened, have given advice re using the nines if threatened with violence. Owner is making leaflets tomorrow and will be delivering them in and around the mans address, the roads he is walking on with the dog and the school where he takes her.

Spoken to owner who is desperately trying to get a photo of Sky to us. I have explained that once a photo is with us there are lots of DL helpers in the area who will poster, and this will throw up news of Sky. She is a very distinctive dog who is extremely identifiable. The owner has involved the police in the matter and they will be reviewing the CCTV. The character who had Sky is very well known and the owner has a name and area he lives in, so she is on the case. We just need a photo!!!

Surely a case for the police, poor little girl, imagine how she feels. The person with the dog is obviously well known if a name has been given. Come on Sky, come on the police this little girl needs her best friend back.

Update: 11 year old owner spotted her dog in Plymouth town centre this afternoon-called her name and she came running over and jumped up but the druggy with the dog said it was his and ran off with Sky leaving an 11 year old girl sobbing her heart out-we have a name of the guy from a concerned passer by.
