I have bumped Charlies page due to press coverage

I have spoken to owner. The new mobile numbers are helpers in area from 'Dog Theft Awareness North East'team, who can respond quickly to sightings to assist owner.

At the request of owners daughter, I have amended the page to show only the owners landline number (louise). Any reference to the sighting at Ramshaw has also been deleted, as this turned out to be another dog & NOT Charlie. I will update any shares I can, if others can too.

Could a Tracker Dog help here? Or maybe a trap. Stay safe Charlie, until you are found. You need your meds. Am too far away to help. Hope local people could search for this little one. Paws xd.

Need to be aware that the dog sighted in Ramshaw was unlikely to have been Charlie - there is a border terrier living in the village who escaped at the same time as the sighting on Thursday afternoon - the owner of that dog has confirmed this today

terrierlady, I have just spoken to owner, they are not sure if it was him, as a man saw what he thought was him, but couldn't confirm. I have given scenting advice etc & asked they join the drone page. Owners daughter was just going out to get posters printed to put up in area.

Sharing Charlie & hoping he is found safe soon

The area he went missing in has old quarries and holes from mining. Also loads of gorse bushes and rabbits. Hard to find a small dog. I do hope he finds his way back.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (129612)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
