thanks Eris I did notice it and the lady who posted it also contacted me-but no name or details were given to her-so we are at a dead end-however if he rings again she will take his number down and try to get more details.

A very interesting post on the dog forums about someone who had advertised for a cavalier and got a call from someone trying to sell them a GSD pup. If she is sold on then we have better chance of finding her...this does happen... because the new owners will have been conned into buying this little dog and they may innocently buy her and she will then be displayed to the public!

Any news? I fear she may have been sold on by now - and with no microchip it's going to be hard to prove ownership, especially as she is so small. :-(

Thanks - Jayne - no I'll check it out also. I have put the poster of this pup up at a field where tons of dog walkers go - I saw at least three people stop and look while I was there. If the pup is still in the area it's certainly 'hot' property now!

In answer to synergy 3105, there are many, many dogs being found but they aren't always getting reported to doglost. A good number of them have chips or tags and get returned to their people and those that stray, as opposed to being stolen, don't often go very far out of their home area.

I have noticed that not many dogs are being found recently. Do you think they ( that is the dogs I mean) decided to stop "straying" ?????? after all the best life you have as a dog is with his owner. No matter how you treat them they still love you. Don't they.
