Hi Pompeys owners sorry to hear she is missing.

Some steps for you to please take-

1. Phone Barnet dog warden to see if they have collected her already - ‭07825 098947‬

2. Phone your microchip company and tell them to change her chip status to missing- whilst on phone double check that the phone numbers they have registered for her are up to date.

3. Print off this Doglost poster and plaster it everywhere you can- it’s the weekend now so think about where people will be visiting the most to see a poster- post smaller versions through people’s doors or put on car windscreens. Put one in your car too- attach one to a bag that you are wearing when you are walking around postering or looking.

4. Try to avoid driving your car around if you have one. Sounds silly but she will know your engine noise and may try to find you and it will be confusing if it keeps moving.

5 Leave a scent trail for her incase she is near to home but can’t quite find her way- dogs noses are very powerful. This can be by sprinkling the contents of your hoover near to your house or your own urine (put it in a bottle and walk along whilst emptying the bottle on the ground)

6. Leave her bed outside your front door if possible or somewhere close by. Pompey could well be too scared to approach you but may want to go into her bed when you are not around- you can also try leaving your car door open and she may feel brave enough to climb into car whilst you aren’t present

7. When you are looking try not to call her name. She may be in survival mode and may even be scared to come to your voice now.

8. Put her poster up online on nextdoor.co.uk it’s a website specifically for you and your neighbours!

Hopefully she hasn’t gone far and has let someone catch her who will take her to the vet and check her micrcochip and you will get a phone call.

If she hasn’t been found by somebody than the most important thing is getting posters out so everyone knows to look out for her and you will get a phone call if someone sees or finds her. Luckily it’s nice weather so if she is in someone’s garden they should see her.

Let me know if you need more help I live in mill hill.
