If you can get just one paper to run your story then you'll find others will contact you in order to run it in other papers. I rang one local paper and used the 'human emotion' angle and reminded them of all the publicity Bruce Forsyth created when his daughter had her two yorkies stolen!!Tell them It's a very imotive subject at the moment. Fingers crossed you'll see Benny soon. Thinking of you. JackieLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Yep it is getting bad out there but I wish owners would tag and chip they are very expensive dogs and I think these kennels should insist that all dogs should have ID of some sort, and I wish these kennels would get better security put in place do they not have someone on hand? what if a dog is taken ill why is it no one seem to be around. I hope they find this lovely boy. poster like mad make him hot. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Must point out - Northallerton is not in central region - it's in the north - it's in the north of north yorkshire.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Was this boy taken from a Boarding Kennel? Or from a private breeding kennel? If the former, small comfort I know, but they should be insured. But I share the concerns of others about how on earth we can keep our animals safe these days, especially the more popular breeds. I'm getting jumpy everytime I see a strange van in the road outside and certainly when it comes to having to go out and leave them in the house, even for a short period of time. And mine are elderly, neutered and no use to anybody in terms of breeding. I so hope this lad can be found, together with all the other recent Bulldog thefts.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Unfortunately Staffygirl it is apparent there is nowhere you can leave your dog safely although if you leave your dog at a boarding kennels you should expect it to be safe but obviously not. I do hope Benny is home soon. Stay safe now. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is indeed terrible. Think the price of these puppies has to come down - appears they have become a victim of their own popularity. Is it going to be armed guards on kennels next? Hope this young lad can be found - fast.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Not another one!!! What publicity can we possibly get for bulldogs in the UK? If I remember correctly 5 females have already been stolen and now a male. This must be a breeding ring! You are talking over 1K for a pup without papers and KC registration. I hope the creeps get cought soon! I want a happy bulldog story, I demand a happy bulldog story! Come home Benny, and bring the girls home with you if possLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
