Interesting report on the animal search page today of a Tan Lurcher loose in SL3. Not caught, but person who reported has some great photos, and has seen dog whilst working night shift for last week. Looks like it is female and definitely worth Bow's owners taking a look:

Found Dog (AFP133508)
Sex: not recorded
Colours: Sandy and White
Collar: Brown, Leather, Plain
No flea collar
Chipped: Not sure
Neutered: Not sure
Found dog in Langley, Slough, Slough, United Kingdom, SL3

I work night shifts at a business park, for the past week this dog has been coming on and off our site until this evening (15/10/12 @ 0200) I managed to coax him over and feed him a bowl of watered down milk.

Owner thinks he has just seen Bow advertised on preloved but needs to be a member to get details...have given him Sues number but think she may be at work...so if any other central has access to preloved maybe they could look into it...tx

Hi I have just come back from a Mary Ray cabaret night at Pershore college. Took Bow's poster with me and organisers kindly displayed it by entrance door. About 200 doggy people there tonight, from all over the midlands, saw a lot of people looking at it. A lot more people now know about Bow and Dog Lost. Come on Bow time to come home x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Its comforting to know flash from wales is back home she went missing the same time as bow. Im still getting calls refering to the stray that was rescued 10th of March in the Marston Green area, therefore the recent sighting may be a red herring?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dont loose heart your girl is out there somewhere. Like Yasa said lets step up the coverage, make this girl too hot to handle. Make sure all the local vets and pet shops and rescue centres have posters. Have you been on the local radio? That can be very useful. Come on Bow you would look very pretty in blue : )Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Yasa
Perhaps get some posters and media coverage further afield, if the local area is flooded. Continued publicity is still the way to go. She is gorgeous, but fortunately she is also chipped, and if someone has picked her up, and not handed her to the authorities you need to make her too hot to handle. All your local rescue centres should be visited once a week and please keep in touch with all the dog wardens both locally and bordering areas. Dont forget that dogs can legaly be rehomed after only seven days if not claimed, although hopefully, but not necessarily, the chip should be read. There is a chance she has been picked up and got loose a bit further away, so do get your press release in as many papers as you can, and notify all vets further afield if you have not done so already. Come on Bow, we just need a glimpse of you again. Stay safe sweetheart until you are home xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ive had two calls this week from possible sightings of bow. All users please remain vigilant. The area of the sighting was moor end avenue / berwicks lane marston greenLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have you contacted Hodge Hill School, they might help by making an annoucement in assemly and putting up a poster on the notice board. Worth a try as all those kids would then go home and tell someone else and as they come from a wide area, my son used to go there, it may be worth a try! Best of luck, hope you find Bow soon. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry this wasn't Bow. You need to continue postering. Posters will get Bow home. You may need to place hundreds, but make sure you put them everywhere that people go. Hand them out to dog walkers, postmen, bin men etc, and if you need smaller flyers for doing just that, please PM either myself or majorjet with your request. You really have got to make Bow too hot to handle now, as she may have been taken in by someone who would like to keep her. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I thought I spotted Bow in the B37 area and managed to get a photo of the dog on my phone. I can email it to you if you need to see the picture. I have also left a message on Bow's owners number. Having read the messages here though I think it may be the resident stray (as per Ollies mom) that lives in the area. It had a red collar and a blue fabric lead that looks like it has snapped in the middle, and did not have the distinctive dark tail. I will keep looking for Bow and will let you know if I see anything....keep positive....I have distributed the posters in our office in B37.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bulliemom (Ollies Mom)
I have been told by various people around Marston Green and Chelmsley Wood that a fawn 'greyhound' looking dog with a red collar had been spotted. It was described as thin and very scared - not letting anyone near. They have been advised to contact the dogwardens (bham & solihull) re the dog, and asked them to throw dog biscuits to the dog so we knew it was getting some food. I'm assuming this dog must be Bow. She was seen on Station Road/Bickenhill Road & The Memorial Grdns Marston Green and Wavers Marston off Moorend Avenue Chelmsley Wood. No word for a few days though. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
