Fantastic news. So pleased George has been found, Stay close now George:-)xxx This is why it is ALWAYS best to check ALL outbuildings when searching for a cat. No matter how unlikely a cat owner would think. It`s good that cats can survive without food for so long. One cat lasted without food for three weeks. He kept licking at some moisture which helps cats keep hydrated (Stowaway on ship) Made a full recovery`. No wonder cats have "Nine lives" :-)

Presume all outbuildings were checked at the time George went missing. ALWAYS take a SECOND LOOK as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within especially if timid, even though their owners are present. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there. Put some tuna or warm chicken in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading to the garden. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him, (Common problem) When it is nightfall, and you are searching, use a strong torch, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. When doing this, take with you an air freshener which you use regularly as it should remind him of his home comforts. Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. Hope George is home very soon. Paws xd.
