Ok And thank you for letting us know:-)
I suppose it would be like us, if we went to a new home, not knowing anyone, and someone just putting some food down. Sure Bear will have a great life with you. Our rescue cat took about three weeks to settle down. Sadly no longer with us. she passed away last August. She was about 19 years old.

We found him behind are shed but he wasn't there yesterday. We are lucky as his meow is really loud. He won't be let out my sigh. So glad I have my care bear home. Thanks all for helping x

Also a door he has access to open wide,, and stand aside (Don`t block his entrance, and I wouldn`t try, and grab him, or he will probably run away) Put some Dreamies in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. When he returns I would keep him in for a good two weeks. Cats hate change of any kind, I have had a rescue cat, and I know it takes time for them to settle into their new environment, especially if timid. Paws xd.Last edited: 2018-04-04 21:53:51

Presume neutered? Check all outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars in case shut in. ALWAYS take a SECOND look as some cats will hide in, or behind an object within, especially if timid. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there. Put some tuna or warm chicken in bis dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. Try a squeaky toy at it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) When it`s nightfall, and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and also post flyers through doors too. Ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observan
Hope this special boy is home soon. Paws xd.
