- No further sightings of Asha. As the possible sightings are not yet 100% as Asha, I have suggested that the family make contact with the rescue centres again as she may have been handed in after the Easter holiday. Need to cover all options. Searchers will continue at Eaglesham area where she went missing.

- The owner has visited SSPCA and they have checked their central records and they have no record of a dog of Asha's description picked up in Eaglesham yesterday. However, there is another company who use similar vehicles Scottish Animal Welfare but their phone number is not working, the owner has sent them an email but no-one knows where they take their animals (waiting game). So the search goes on, don't know if Asha has been picked up or she is still missing near the kennels. Lost Dogs Glasgow facebook site are working fabulously to find Asha. The facebook site is

- Hi we have just been out for an hour and a half looking in the area, we know the area well so looked in most likely places, we met with the dog owner and they were heading away as it was dark. Difficult when its dark and the weather is not going to be great overnight, hopefully an Akita can get through the cold night and will be located very soon.

- I am removing the comment about the farmer shooting dogs as the local farmer has just posted on facebook that this is not true and they are keeping a look out for her, however the kennels seem to have lost several dogs. Here is the facebook link for missing Asha
