This dog is still in the care of the Animal Warden whilst he receives further medical treatment for minor skin, ear and urinary issues and should be available for rehoming (from a long list!) soon.Last edited: 2018-02-27 20:09:37

So pleased to see these pictures, what a lovely dog he is x

Brown Poodles take about 2-3 years old to fade to this colour if that helps. If older then the legs would be more faded to match the body colour too.

I have been advised by email and phone that the Animal Warden and veterinary practice (that saw the dog on Monday) that the descriptive information currently known is that he is a brown poodle/poodle type and is an adult. They cannot be sure of any true age although it is believed he is over one and fully developed. He is/Found entire.

Therefore I cannot accurately give an indication with the options on DogLost as to age range or poodle type (cross, minature, etc) so will assume a young adult and poodle cross may be the most fitting for this listing currently.

This poodle has been/is being seen at a veterinary practice this morning and a second scan shows he is NOT MICROCHIPPED. He is receiving treatment for his ears and there is blood in his urine which is being investigated.

At least the poor little dog is safe and better than on the streets. I’m sure it’s going to get all the treatment needed now.

07731 360174 fb.me/yateleydog for progress, photos and video footage first obtained 17/02. The dog moves without obvious injury. Gender remains unknown.

Thank you Ray, I have seen your post to the page. You may wish to message the Admin through the group/phone too. I was in contact last night and informed a plan is in place to trap. Local, experienced volunteers have been advising throughout and advice is largely followed. I remain willing whilst a team of two appear to wish action alone currently but many are still actively involved as a lot of the Community are behind this and may not have seen all the advice.

A (fox?) trap left on 13/02 was disabled and recovered by 15/02 by someone. It isn’t not clear whether another has been sited by a separate member of the public alluding to obtaining one. Efforts are being made to address this.

Untested information posted on a Community page that local travellers site is known for breeding of cockerpoos. There are a few sites in Yateley.Last edited: 2018-02-18 13:05:31

The poor dog. I hope the attempts to trap this little mite are successful and soon. It must be terrified. Good luck and stay safe little one xx

Hi folks. not to good with facebook, but if help is needed I can be there in about 80 mins. this poor creature needs help and FAST.. I think we all know how important it is NOT to leave any trap UNATTENDED at anytime..with traps anyone who see,s a fox, cat, hedgehog, or even their own dog are more than likely to release it. and more important than that if your target animal see,s another CAUGHT creature then they ALL know whats happened.GOOD LUCK..Ray.shout if needed..HOLLYTREES ANIMAL RESCUE TRUST. 01564823244..or ring JAYNE DOG LOST. I have shared all the photos of the Yateley Dog to Meatball’s owner and she has confirmed this is not Meatball from them.

She is keen to help with this dog once safely caught https://www.facebook.com/groups/395406457579529/permalink/399451977174977/

I have asked three persons if the gender has been confirmed following references to a male.Last edited: 2018-02-17 19:25:31

Just emailed new photos which show him better

I have emailed photos to photos@doglost.co.uk as having trouble uploading/updating them (regular issue)

This photo is the only true information we have of this dog at this time so is prudent.

Thank you SandyW, I have updated the description and photos.

I visited the area yesterday and was given information as to the location of a food station. Noting the georgraphy, surroundings and sighting reports I recommended a quieter, safer location where containment would be more easily obtained. The Admin have now agreed with my suggestion and will relocate it.
SandyW
Looking at the photo posted today... I'd say some kind of cocker-poo probably
SandyW
A friend who saw the dog yesterday described it as ' very small cocker spaniel-type'... the poodle references may be because the dog has been out for some time and the coat is scruffy and difficult to recognise.

Many more sightings made and posted to a dedicated FB group fb.me/yateleydog set up. Admin there do not wish to use DogLost poster I have listed and state need ‘more personalised posters’ and ‘not optimal for our situation’ so have created their own asking info be text to 07731 360174 or posted to fb.me/yateleydog

I have listed triangulation and scenting advice (previously given to me by a DogLost colleague LW) there for their consideration also and note a trap has been in situ since 13/02 by unknown person.

The example photo shown here for the poster image has been agreed as a likeness (all be it the sighted Dog is described as brown/chocolate) between two persons sighting the loose dog, from a selection of Google images shown to them. The Dog photo shows in list but not on opening page or poster at this time??

I have read that local vets Kynoch, RSPCA and relevant Animal Warden have all received reports of this Dog.Last edited: 2018-02-19 06:17:00

Stolen poodle’s (Meatball from Oxford http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=125006) is aware of this Dog as some have described this loose Dog as black whilst many describe it as brown. She has been to the area and placed his posters locally.. She is following the FB threads.
