Could owner check a very similar looking cat at the new Venture Farm Cat Rescue in Thuxton Road, Mattishall, near Dereham please.

I seriously can't believe the amount of shares Pepper has had. Thank you so so much. Please do keep sharing, he is still missing and its nearly been 2 months since I last saw my beautiful boy x

Pepper went out at night and didn't come back so I don't think he could have gotten in a van or car..he would always run away from them. But obviously I don't know for certain that hasn't happened and if it did I wouldn't have seen it happen as we are quite rural! Thank you x

Hi, many cats that go missing have got into a delivery van or car and hitched a lift to their next port of call. Was there a delivery van around that day? Ask neighbours. Then call the delivery company and ask where the vehicle went next. Most vans use gps now and can say exactly where they went that day. Really hope your cat comes home soon, thinking of you

Hi all. Thank you for comments and shares. He is still not home and doing everything we can to look for him or get him to catch the scents here. I called the council again and no cats matching his description have been taken in so he is still out there somewhere!

Presume all outbuildings wre checked at the time he went missing? Empty contgents of the hoover on to the garden, as Pepper`s scent will be there. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too;anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Walk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) When it is dry, and you are searching use a strong trorch as the light will reflect a cat`s eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. And ask around, especially those with children as they can be very observant. Hope Pepper is home soon. Paws xd.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
• A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (125421)
• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
• You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
• If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
• If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
