- PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT 'DOUGAL' as said below - Martyn Crowden is still getting requests to check, which is adding to his distress.
After such a heartfelt plea for help, owners are inundated with offers of help and photos of found dogs; please bear this in mind and perhaps post up here for just 1 DL person to check out and contact Martyn if necessary.
(Believe me all help is appreciated, but it can be very difficult to keep responding - I've been there . . .)
Thank you x - 2018-01-30 07:04 MB
- Sorry just seen not Martyn Crowden's missing cocker 🙁

- I have been in contact with the local Animal Warden who does not believe this Dog to have been stolen. Contact has been made via the old chip details to the previous owner who sold the dog to persons unknown (he cannot recall names) so it appears the microchip details have never been updated.

- I've just checked with the gentleman who has lost his but sadly this is not his dog. It's heartbreaking the poor man is in bits.

- There was a thread on my newfeed last week about a stolen chocolate cocker in Devon I'm searching for it

- I don't think it is the same dog but a heartbroken owner posted that his dog, a chocolate spaniel was stolen. Post date 25 January. Name of owner Martyn Crowden from Leicester. I shared his post and your post above made me look it up. Do so hope the owners can be found and that you don't destroy the dogs if their owners can't be found.
