cheeky
elaine tinker i would still try and check it out, hope it hasnt gone back to travellers
Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
Thank you #stoppetheft I'm rather worried it has been reunited, as it has had a history of travellers in its background according to the vets.

I am still not 100% sure that it wasn't my girl 😢
#stoppettheft
Ohhhh, so sorry - i have just re-read all the comments & have seen that this lovely little one has been Reunited - I DO Hope She is now 'chipped too
#stoppettheft
I am SO Sorry that this hasn't had a positive outcome for you Elaine .
I DO Hope this little one is soon in a Kind & Caring Furever Home -
BUT Who is this Horrible Person who works for the kennels ?!
Do Kennels come under Council 9 or other) jurisdiction ?
Do they have to 'answer' to anyone - have to meet 'criteria' to have a Licence?
IF it were YOU or I who were at the end of a phone line / email to a very worried, concerned Owner then I am SURE we would be VERY NICE, promise to pass on any details, questions, even IF we couldn't Help much at the time
Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
Thank you Georgy Porgy and Mary. Yes, another disappointment, but I'm still glad I was alerted to her. It so easily could have been her.

I've got to stay positive otherwise I won't be any good to my girls.

The search definitely continues, I'm so grateful for all your support xxxx
Mary
So very sorry Elaine.
Georgy Porgy
Thanks Elaine sorry it wasn't to be but the search goes on..... X

This unfortunately is the final update on this little one ☹️ Sue so very kindly went to Forest Lodge today, this little one had apparently been reunited last weekend. Sue spoke to 3 people who worked there and took along Tinker doglost poster (71081) also some extra pictures I had sent her. They said they were very much alike but couldn't tell totally as the little dog was no longer with them, however they thought the little one pictured above was a lot younger than Tinker.

I guess we'll never know.

Thank you so very much sue, you are one in a million xxxx
Mary
Fingers crossed for you Elaine.
Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
Have got someone going to see her on Wednesday xxxx
Anne
Any news on this one ?
Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
Thank you Liz Q I have sent you an email xx

Anne, please don't feel upset, it still could be Tinker, I'm not giving up on it, it just got to me yesterday but I'm bouncing back now xxxx
Anne
Any updates today on this little girl. Been getting so cross about FL and their attitude and upset for Elaine for pointing her in their direction only to be talked to in such an appalling manner.
Liz Q
Elaine~please could you email me on lizq1971@aol.co.uk. I can send you details of someone at FL who might be a bit more helpful. x
Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
Thank you Jayelle. It seems the people at Forest Lodge don't want to help to reunite with their rightful owners.
I've never spoken to such a rude person, she's definitely not in the right job.

Totally different response from White Cross Vets Hayley was really helpful and was ringing the dreadful kennels again tomorrow, even though they were rude to her too.

All I want is the chance to see if this little girl is mine 😢 xxxx
BorderCol
Even if there is a current owner, unless they have owned her from a puppy it can still also be Tinker.

Thank you Anne. I got your phone message, it's not been the best of days that's for sure.
Really good of you to ring me tonight, I really appreciate it
Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
Thank you so much Anne.
I have just phoned white cross vets and spoke to Hayley, what a lovely person, she said the woman she spoke to at the kennels was very rude to her too!!
Hayley gave me the vets email address, I have now sent Hayley some pictures of Tinker.

I did get a brief email from the kennels, but to be honest not worth the paper it's printed on! If you want a copy of the email, I will happily forward it to you.

Hayley said she will contact the kennels again tomorrow, can't face it tonight now xx
Anne
Phoned White Cross Vets ..... breath of fresh air .... Hayley who works there listened and was very understanding to the point she said she would call Forest Lodge herself then ring me back. She rang back within 10 mins and said that she had asked them very nicely to please have a look at the email / pictures Elaine sent of Tinker and respond with some further photos of this found girl. Hayley you are a superstar and this is the kind of help a distraught dog owner needs. Guess Elaine can make another call if she doesn't hear back from Forest Lodge. Oh apparently the person who said it was her neighbours dog hasn't obviously been in to Kennels to give any proof of ownership so maybe a red herring.
Anne
I too phoned Forest Lodge (spoke to Rachel) she said this dog was too young to be Tinker but I did stress that it's not always 100% accurate when attempting to guess a dogs age ! I asked if she could possibly send another photo (showing markings on rest of the body) to Tinkers owner and she said it would have to wait till Thursday when Gemma was back in as she deals with FB etc. I asked if someone could even bother to read Elaines email and she said again Gemma deals with that. I told her I was gobsmacked that they would wait three more days and let someone worry themselves and have a dog in kennels longer than needed if it could potential be sent home right away. She said their main concern is the feeding and walking of the 50 dogs currently in their care. All I can say I unbelievable. No wonder so many dogs stay in Kennels so long. Not a happy bunny,
Elaine Tinker and Hemps mum
I have to say. "I AM SOOO MAD"!
I phoned forest lodge kennels about this little one. The woman I had the misfortune to speak to was so RUDE! Not only did she tell me that it couldn't be my dog as it wasn't microchipped, I told her neither were mine, she then told me it was far too young to be mine, I said " I wasn't happy with that and asked for photos" ( I sent pictures of Tinker last night, which they hadn't even bothered to look at)!
She then told me that the neighbour of the dogs owner contacted them on Saturday??????

I am NOT giving up on this xxxx
