Called Rosie - Andre's mum. Vet check went well with no obvious harm done during his "adventure". Apparently, the little tinker has settled straight back in at home and is back to his normal self. 😊

Have spoken to Rosie. Here's a summary:

* Several sightings of Andre have since been reported. Pattern suggests he's moving between upper end of Hartland Road (towards Shinfield Road) and home.

No other sightings reported as yet. Have asked Rosie Townsend (Andres owner) to have some well worn clothing she can leave down as there is a patch of woodland I think she should exhaust. Several local residents spoken to who plan to search also and spread the word. X

ANDRE IS TIMID WITH PEOPLE, LOVES FOOD AND SQUEAKY TOYS.HE WAS WEARING A WORN RED COLLAR AND ESCAPED FROM HOME YESTERDAY.

Have shared with some south Reading community groups on FB. Will be able to take a look around the area on Tuesday and maybe tomorrow.

Please add any sightings to this page so that they can be plotted. -lost dogs often move in triangles or try to head home.

Would be worth accepting the offers for help from Julie at the DogsSAR ground group, she is amazing!

Last see at Hillbrow off top of hartland road about 8.30 ran to back of house so could be in woods just walked it for an hour couldn’t see him

He was seen at top of Hartland Road at 6.30! This morning but ran back down the hill towards the houses been out to look but couldn’t find him
