- BRILLIANT. Such an awful time of year to be lost outdoors. Welcome back lovely Maya, and super well done to Kingston police too. They didn't know if Maya was a he or she because she was so scared she just covered in a corner, and they did not want to upset her further by checking (i.e. handling her).
So pleased with this happy outcome. xx - 2017-11-11 09:09 charlie and sooty

- Alice - thank you so much. That is very kind of you. She probably recognises her name but can't be sure. She will need to be lured out by a gentle female voice and some food x

- Sorry to see Maya still hasn't been found. Having lost one of my own dogs a while back I know how distressing it is. I was walking in the Putney Heath area on Saturday and Sunday but saw nothing. I live nearby and am on maternity leave at the moment so I'll head to the Heath again this afternoon. Does Maya know her name?

- Maya has been spotted again today in the same area but was still not caught. :(

- I really hope you find Maya soon what a terrible time of year for her to go missing .

- UPDATE!! MAYA WAS SPOTTED TODAY!!
If you search the postcode on the map, you will be able to see what Chloe is referring to in her message here!
From Chloe - daughter of Maya's adopter:
My Dad lives on Garden Close, there's a dotted line to the south of that on the green area - that's the alleyway/path. She was spotted today by someone outside the telegraph pub (look to the right hand side of the map) which leads straight onto this alleyway. Then she was spotted running along Portsmouth Rd, which again leads onto the heath and the alleyway.
They believe she has been / is hiding along this pathway.
If anyone has posted her on any groups - please post this map in the comments along with the info about where she was last seen / her suspected hiding place. If she is not found tonight, we need to get a lot of people out looking for her in this area tomorrow. The dog warden will also be back on the case tomorrow 😞 - 2017-11-05 13:39 reggiemollieros
- Thank you. Someone had copy and pasted a screenshot of the photo and that info on to Twitter from Facebook. Thanks for the update. XLast edited: 2017-11-05 13:41:07 by reggiemollieros

- Just to respond to the below comments - I work with the charity, we rescued Maya and I have updated her chip details - she's now registered to our UK kennels, so if she is found and scanned we will be contacted.
She had only arrived in her new home the day before she went missing. She was not there on foster and did not escape a carrier, she escaped their garden gate as it had been left open. :( x - 2017-11-05 10:18 reggiemollieros
- I just saw some extra info on Twitter that she had only just arrived at foster home and escaped the carrier. So will need all the help she can get.

- Poor Maya have shared on Twitter. She may go back to where she originally went missing and wait for you. Has she been in the UK long? Is her microchip registered on a UK database? Is she homed or in foster? I hope she is sighted soon. Have you tried making a barbecue and cooking some sausages on it near the area she was last seen? Praying she is found safely.
