I have just spoken to Tarry's owner and there have been no sightings of Tarry, in any shape or form. Poor wee man must have gone now. The owner said that he used to walk up the village on his own , after going out the cat-flap, and was known to the local residents, who would have thought nothing about seeing him walking around on his own. God bless you Tarry, wee man, wherever you are. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have made some enquiries today about Tarry. It is a very small village where he lives. There have been no sightings of him at all and it is not looking too good, as a liitle oldie like him would not be able to survive in the open. There is a stream at the top of the village and it is possible he could have wandered up there. He is known in the village so if anyone had found him it is likely he would have been brought back to his owner. Poor wee man. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I hope your wee dog comes home soon, but personally, I think it is a bad idea to let a dog who is nearly blind and deaf go in and out the catflap and wander around the village. He needs TLC at his age not adventure. Sorry if this offends, but I would never allow my Papillon out of my sight and she is just 3 years old. Good luck anyway.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

i would try ringing the local rspca center, when the options come on, dont press to report a dog missing as it gets you nowhere, i would press to report an injured dog.... papillons when old are very frail and if the rspca had been rang and picked him up they may tell you about it or they may not, as in the incident with the old cat they picked up a while back... i have a soft spot for papillons as i grew up around them, my mum used to keep , breed and show them, i wish you the best of luck with finding him , he does look a darling, im also guessing by the picture she has a few missing teeth also , as to be expected, keep your chin up and search the local area, most people around you would know he was yours anyway but people a couple of streets away may have took him in noticing that he is old and also blind.. best of luck katieLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Tarry could not have gone far in the condition he is in , surely. I totally agree with Yasa in that you have to search the surrounding area with a fine toothcomb. He must be so worried and anxious not knowing where he is. Have you tried all the neighbours to see if someone has not taken him in?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have all neighbours been informed, and their gardens been searched? Any where he could have got stuck, or caught up on? Brambles, wire etc. Any ditches, ponds he could have gone into? Any building work going on, where he could have fallen down? Hope this little one will be found safe xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
