- Miffy was taken along with other possessions hence police involvement. Chip company was contacted by a Dorchester based vet. Owner has contacted vet who cannot give details due to data protection so vet has been asked to report all information to Avon & Somerset constabulary.

- I know it's not ethical, but I know of several dogs recovered by saying they were on expensive essential medication and would become very sick if they didn't receive it. People who steal dogs don't bargain for expensive vet bills and will give them back.
