At least have the courage to hand him in properly. Hope he gets a new home, but unfortunately lots of abandoned staffies and crosses. :(

Thanks for doing so much work for this beautiful boy CJ. When Dog Warden gave us details we thought there had to be something strange going on as ‘finder’ who was with dog outside RSPCA shop was in a hurry to get back to Margate. Which, when dog was scanned by them later, was where the original owner came from.
Looks like this beauty will not be claimed so hoping he finds a loving home.

#stoppettheft there are CCTV cameras all along Uxbridge high street and pedestrian area where he was found, only police can request footage though

previous owner has said ....''I handed over chipping details etc so the new owner could put the dog in their name I believe if the dog has been left outside rspca it is the best place for the dog I'm upset and angry that the dog has been left in this situation and hope that the dog gets its forever home.''

The registered keeper replied to my email. he was the keeper but could not keep this dog along with another and a friend of his re homed the dogs but he has no idea who the new owner is. Lets hope that someone reports this dog as missing and if not the lovely looking boy is re homed after his 7 days.

From details on the microchip i was able to check who implanted the chip - who was his vets. They have checked records and mobiles are the same on record but these do not connect. Checked with thanet council to make sure not reported as missing. Chip details have an email which i have sent asking if still registered owner.
Vets were then able to find on their system a land line. It rings but no answer so have passed this on in an email to the dog warden to follow this up but also left a message he contacts the above listed number. I have also tracked him on facebook and left a PM to confirm if still registered keeper of this dog.

Dog Warden is looking into the circumstances behind how she came to be in Uxbridge.
Chip details don't appear to be up to date, perhaps she was sold on or stolen? Waiting for more information, just wanted to see if anyone is missing her or looking for her

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
