Have just read on fb that the dog has successfully been caught and has been taken to vets. It says the dog has a microchip so hopefully owners will be found. Just want to say well done and Thank You to Chris for helping this poor dog and managing to catch her.

Hi, I have a photo of this dog (saw on a facebook post) and will now email to photos@doglost.co.uk. The sex of this dog is still unknown as they are unable to get close enough but they can see a dark coloured collar. This dog has been living at the farm for about 3 weeks.
Owner of the farm has requested his full address and mobile number NOT to be published but is agreeable for contact to be made via email or messenger : chrislevett@ymail.com. Last edited: 2017-09-21 09:35:05 by LisaP

Is it possible to put a little food and water in a safe place that this dog regularly visits? If this can be done at the same time each day hopefully he/she will stay close and you will be able to gain trust.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
