Cannot see that this has been done so apologies if it has but would be idea to poster all around that area including bus stop & cemetery. Not everyone uses social media - i don't. Hope you hear something soon X

Mo has this been reported to the police? If a dog is hit by law the driver has to report the accident to the police. The police may be able to access CCTV in the area.

From owner FB post "I have run out of options for the current crisis I am in - please can you take the time to read my story so we can create more awareness and try to figure out what happened.
On Tues 29/08 at around 15:30 my precious Coco bolted out the front door on Tranmere Road whilst being taken care of by a friend. He chased her down Garratt Lane and was able to speak to people who witnessed her running by up until the bus stop before Streatham Cemetery. We searched day and night non-stop for her until Thursday when we received a phone call from a young lady who witnessed Coco running down the street and then being knocked over by a silver car on Garratt Lane between Streatham cemetery and the PureGym (heading towards Tooting station). The incident happened between 15:30 – 16:00. Coco looked dead, but the witness could not be certain. There were apparently 6 others who witnessed this as they had all just gotten off a bus and a male went in to the street to pick her up.
We have not received any word from anyone else and have tried every avenue - keeping in touch daily with the vets in the area and surrounding areas, microchipping company, dog wardens, RSPCA, Battersea Animal Shelter, the Wandsworth Council, the cleaning service companies the council uses for the removal of dead dogs and countless lost dog groups on social media and other internet platforms.
Was she tossed in a bin by this person who picked her up off the street or is she alive and being taken care of?
Something just isn't sitting right and we are appealing for more witnesses to come forward so we might find some closure on this matter.
Coco was more than a dog to us, she was our fur baby. She lived for 5.5 glorious years with us and she had an amazing life. My husband and I have lived in South Africa, Thailand and now London and Coco has never left our side. People often joke she is better traveled compared to most adults. Where ever she went she crawled in to people's hearts. She has touched lives in all corners of the globe and the loss and heartache being felt around the world at this stage is devastating. On top of this she has left behind a very distraught Yorkie brother and I am due to give birth this week on the 7 Sep. It breaks my heart that my daughter will not grow up with the love of this precious animal. Our little family is just no longer complete and we are devastated."

When you say she ran off originally into Streatham Cemetery do you mean the cemetery in Blackshaw Rd as this is the one that is near St George's Hosp? Have you also checked around the cemetery, although I am aware that this is a very large cemetery as I used to live nearby! Have you checked with your local dog warden for Wandsworth area? How sad ......have you tried calling the police? Are you sure this is true?
Do you have the Person's number who called you and ask for more information on what the Person who picked up Coco looks like?
Mo McCole
Hi all this is Coco's mommy. A lady called today after seeing our posters to inform me she witnessed Coco being run over by a silver car after trying to catch her. This happened on 29/08 between 15:30 - 16:00. She said the car that hit Coco drove off and Coco looked dead. Another person on the street picked her up and this witness left as she was too traumatized after witnessing the event. I have phoned every vet in the area and Wandsworth council cleaning services responsible for removing dead dogs. No-one has received an injured or dead Yorkshire Terrier this week. Accident happened on / around Fountain Street in Tooting behind St. George's hospital. We are desperate to know what happened to her. If anyone has any information please let me know so we can get some closure on the matter.
