Border Terrier, male, approximately 6 plus years old. He is red grizzle in colour with grey on his muzzle, he has a rough coat and he is small in size. He is a bit skinny. Victor is very friendly and he seems Ok with other dogs. about the right age http://www.petforums.co.uk/dog-chat/95424-death-row-dogs.html  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I spoke with Archies owners family today - he has been missing over 2 years now but his owners are still activly looking for him, posters still up in area that he went missing - will put him forward for CMW. The dog ID 21861 is not Archie, as they were the first people called when this dog was captured.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Met with Archie's owner and the Estate manager today and it sounds like it could be him. As i have permission to walk my dogs in the private fields around the Estate i will keep an extra eye out but it sounds like he may not want to be caught by strangers.Have made plans to meet the owner on Thur and walk inside the Estate grounds.  I will also help put more posters up and knock on doors in the area. Can you advice if we should do a silent walk or should the owner call his name????  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken with owners this morning, the lady that saw the dog and then a poster in the vets at Chipping Norton has been in contact with the owners and having seen some pictures is pretty convinced that the dog she saw is Archie, The latest area that 'he' has been spotted in in on a private estate just outside Chipping Norton, the owners have been in contact with the estate manager and they are meeting on Monday, workers on the estate have seen pictures of Archie and also say that it is a good match so now is just a waiting exercise, new still missing  posters and scenting instructions will be sent out later today and I will email out to local helpers in area. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE ESTATE - IT IS PRIVATE AND THERE ARE NO PUBLIC FOOTPATHS, BUT IF YOU RIDE HORSES IN THE AREA THERE IS A BRIDAL PATH ON THE PERIMETER OF THE ESTATE.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Has there been a new development with Archie?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
A  lady has recently seen a poster of Archie and is convinced she saw this dog at the end of May living rough in the Charbury/Cornbury Park area which is about 25 miles from where he went missing-same collar, looked as though he had been out a while with a rabbit in his mouth-they tried for 3 hours to coax him in and reported it to the authorities.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello,i realy hope Archie turns up soon. I live in Churchill and have been putting up posters around the area. Has he been castrated and is there anything else that may be useful to know like if he is friendly or scared of anything? I will keep up the search and can just say that the more publicity the better so i will keep putting up the posters. Keep posotive during this awfull time.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
