We are very sorry that we have had to keep this Quiet but things have been going on since The bank Holiday. We can now confirm that very Sadly Cherry is at Rainbow Bridge. Everyone has been amazing and karen and Victoria would like thanks passed on to you all. Small update. A group of us went out tonight with BBQs and the dogs cherry knows to the last sighted area. And connecting fields. We sat observing until it was to dark to continue. The area is very swampy. BBQS Were set up in various places. And cherrys fosterer walked for a few hours with the Dogs. Lots more posters have been put up and lots of people spoken to. Sadly we did not get a sighting of cherry tonight. Many thanks to everyone who helped x

We have a new sighting of cherry. At Appx 6.45 Monday 21st August a lady was leaving Fairhurst farm. Driving away from the farm down the lane that leads onto Chorley Road.(postcode WN1 2WD). Cherry ran accross the lane from the railwayline side over to the Field and headed to Ashfiled Park Side. Owners will be setting up BBQs in a few areas today(evening) to try and entice her out. The area is still very Big and vast. Cherry is still wearing her harness but is starting to look thinner now. Posters are now up in the area x

Possible sighting sunday 20th Aug 5-6pm being checked on the Field Behind Copeland Drive Standish here houses are stating to be built. A person spent 3 hours cutting away at Brambles in order to release a dog that might have been a Rotweiller. The person only glimpsed the dog they have stated. Once released it ran off over the Field and he has not seen it since

We have had no sightings in 3 days. As we know cherry was seen 3 times near new houses that are being built. By the owls and by St wilfreds school. We have alerted doglost members within a 5 mile radius of WN6 since these sightings. Searches and scenting was done on the day of these sightings. We have alerted farms and every bussiness that we possibly can between there upto chorley. We can not dismiss the fact that she may still be in the area as nobody has seen her leave. If anyone is free to help today could they please check if anyone on the housing Estate has seen her or picked her up and dosent have FB or know what to do with a found Dog.

Cherry was sighted this morning appx 7.30-8.00 am near st Wilfreds primary School in Standish Wigan she is still wearing a harness. Please DO NOT CHASE she is now near Roads. Please report sightings ASAP to me or call the Dog Warden. Cherrys saftey is 100% priorty. Shes now braving roads and do not want her spooked. If you see her please observe from a Distance x

Due to Events over Night we now know that cherry still has her collar and Harness on. I am not making public the area that cherry is in at the moment Due to her being scared of people. The Fosterer is coming back over today and scenting will be put in place to try and contain cherry to one area.
