Thanks Mary, I think we will do that. Trouble is its a big area with massive amounts of undergrowth. Very sandy too so haven't seen too many animal holes although they must be there. We have checked both ponds over and over. There are posters up all over the area and from previous experience, was hoping for more sightings than we have had.

We have had one confirmed sighting just after she went missing. Lady saw her running about happily and tried to coax her with treats but she was too busy having fun to come up to her. Lady said she didn't seem scared, was just running about.

But this was before the posters went up and lots of people have been out looking and no more sightings so far.

Her bed and owners clothes have been left out under cover at her house in case she goes back there. A neighbour is checking regularly.

If you haven't done so already it would be worth taking a length of hose and a funnel to check rabbit holes etc. In case Dottie has got stuck.

UPDATE: No sightings at all so far. Person employed to walk her didn't notice she had gone missing straight away. :o( We have been out with dog walking business owner who is beside herself with worry, all afternoon since we heard. they have been out all day looking and still are now.
Any help we can get would be appreciated.x

"DESPERATELY SEEKING DOTTIE!!

Dottie, a small, scruffy female Jack Russell has been lost on Frimley Fuel Allotments/Tomlinscote Woods.

She is mainly white with some black spots.

She went missing today, 20 July, while being walked near the two ponds next to Pineridge golf course.

She is wearing a pink collar, and is microchipped.

She lives in Greenhill Road off the Upper Chobham Road, and her normal walks with her owner are on the MOD Vehicle Testing Land off the Maultway up to High Curley viewpoint.

It is entirely possible that she may try and make her way home.

There are over 60 Dog Lost posters up at present and more will be going up. Searchers are still out looking.

It is unclear at present how she disappeared from her walker and as yet there are no confirmed sightings.

Please keep an eye out for her on your walks or if you are driving in the area.

Although friendly and food loving, she may now be too scared to respond to being called or caught, so if you do see, her please call 07766 653358 or 07590 722558.

If you are looking for her, please do NOT call her name as this can confuse and scare a dog in “flight mode”.

If you do get close enough to her, please crouch low, no eye contact and make soothing, calming noises to try to get her close enough to you to catch. But please do not try to grab, as this could make her run further.

PLEASE HELP FIND DOTTIE, SHE IS MISSED VERY MUCH, WE NEED TO GET HER SAFELY HOME QUICKLY
